The Great Tastes of Manitoba celebrated its 20th Anniversary this year, making it the the longest running TV cooking show in Manitoba’s history! In honour of this milestone, the commodity groups behind the show will launch a cookbook entitled “Great Tastes of Manitoba - Celebrating delicious, local food,” this weekend. On November 23, MCPA met with the new Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Initiatives, the Honourable Stan Struthers to discuss important  issues which affect Manitoba’s cattle industry.

Tune into CTV on Saturday, November 28, at 6:30 p.m. to see Corinne Dawley prepare different kinds of beef steaks. Recipes will include “Beef Medallions with Port Sauce,” “Beef Souvlaki with Mediterranean Pasta Salad,” and “Round Steak Done Right.”
