MCPA is participating in Open Farm Day!

Open Farm Day is a day set aside for farmers and consumers to connect with each other.  Farmers that sell products, services, or agri-tourism experiences will be among the farms that will be visited in Manitoba on the September 19th, 2010, Open Farm Day.

Open Farm Day allows participating farmers to showcase and sell their products, services or attractions as well as educate Manitobans about local food, farms and the agriculture industry. 

Encouraging urban consumers to travel to these farms will contribute to the vitality of rural areas.
